About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin or how to tackle the things that are troubling us.

By working together in a safe and confidential way I aim to enable you to gain insight, understanding and perspective on what you are struggling with. When this happens it becomes possible to explore and identify options which may help you to cope better. From this more solid foundation, it can then become possible to work towards the goal of therapy which Professor Stephen Joseph describes as, "not just being about people surviving or getting through life but instead should aim to encourage people to find a way forward towards leading fulfilling, meaningful, purposeful and flourishing lives".

I am a Registered, Senior Accredited Member of the BACP and I'm a Level Two Professional member of ACTO. I'm qualified and have experience in working with a wide range of counselling issues both in-person and online.

Online availability: Monday - Friday  8.30am - 4.30pm inclusive from Monday 4th October 2021.

I'm happy to work with any new, current, on-going or previous clients online via Zoom Video, Voice only or Email therapy sessions. Telephone sessions are also available.

If you would like to work with me or for further information about my practice, please call or email me on the details provided.

Practice description

By working together in a confidential, relational and client-centred way, my aim is to support you in collaboratively exploring, reflecting on and processing your issues or situation in ways that offer useful insights and perspectives. This may enable you to consider the personal meaning this may have for you and inform your self-knowledge and self-understanding. It is this facilitative process which can help you to identify and consider your options and choices in how you want to move forward.

My first session

Counselling sessions last for an hour and the fee per session whether by Zoom Video, Voice only, Email or telephone is £50.
