About me and my therapy practice

People come to Therapy for all sorts of reasons. You might be experiencing feelings of anxiety or dissatisfaction with life. Perhaps you are hoping to find and develop relationships that are more meaningful or are struggling with a relationship you were or indeed are in. There may be problems at work that require an impartial caring ear. You may be feel there are questions about sexuality that you would like to consider. It could be that you want to look at your general mood or maybe there is simply the need to unpick your thoughts. Often people come to therapy with a presenting problem, which once it has been worked on reveals a deeper need to focus on another aspect of their experience. In any instance, people often find that simply talking to another person about how they are feeling is helpful. I offer a non-judgmental and confidential service. My counselling practice is set in a quiet private and comfortable room in an easily accessible building. There are disabled facilities here so if you have specific access needs please let me know so that I can make sure they are met. The counselling sessions last for 50 minutes and the work we do is dependent on what you want to discuss.
