About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and accredited practitioner working in South West London. I provide Psychotherapy and Counselling for adults and adolescents who live and work in London. I am located at my private practice in Fulham, and in Putney.
I trained at Regent's University on an MA programme in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology.
I worked as a therapist for the NHS, at Putneymead Medical Centre offering CBT, Mindfulness and Integrative therapy for anxiety, depression and stress.
My therapy services are also underpinned by my corporate and entrepreneurial experience. In 2002 I created an Interior Design company, deepening my understanding of managing stress, finding balance and working with interpersonal issues.
I work specifically with trauma, panic attacks, anxiety disorders, an over stimulated nervous system and PTSD.
My aim as a therapist is to help you work though painful or confusing experiences in a safe, confidential and therapeutic environment. I believe that we each have it within ourselves to grow, to overcome fears and find our true selves.
I work from home, online and in a clinic offering short and long term therapy.
This means you may like 6 sessions of short term therapy integrating CBT and Mindfulness or you may need 12 sessions+ for trauma work including EMDR.
My first session
The first session is an introduction -where you can fill me in on why now? what is happening at the moment that leads you to therapy? What would you like from therapy?
It is a standard length and cost.
It is vital you feel safe and comfortable talking to me and the first session enables you to decide if you want to work with me.
