About me and my therapy practice
Coming to counselling can be a daunting experience, whatever your age. I know it takes courage to ask for help, especially at a time when you may be feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable. Collaborating in a relationship of trust and compassion, I will support you to reach a deeper understanding of yourself and enable you to work towards your own solution.
Empathetically listening to your story, without judgement, I provide a safe space for you to explore any difficulties that you are experiencing and empower you to make changes.
My orientation is Humanistic, putting you my client at the centre (Person Centred), and Integrative meaning that I can draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to help guide our sessions, so that you feel heard and I can respond in the most appropriate way.
The problems we explore may stem from deeply buried emotions, thoughts and beliefs that are blocking your ability to connect constructively with yourself and others. Equally, you may find it more useful to take a solution-focused and goal-orientated approach.
I believe everyone deserves to feel happy and fulfilled and to discover this by giving themselves another chance.
