About me and my therapy practice
Day to Day is an independent, professional counselling service providing a wide range of support which reflects my many years of working in mental health, counselling, psychotherapy, child and family counselling, especially within the autism and Asperger’s speciality and related communication difficulties. Training and supervision within care facilities and schools to provide greater understanding and awareness of autism and Asperger’s syndrome. I use transactional analysis and systemic models to work with others so that they can identify what they want to change, how they can do things differently, celebrating positive improvement and planning new goals. I am not the expert; families know themselves best and what they want to achieve.

About me and my therapy practice
I initially trained as a Psychiatric Nurse 1982 to 1985 and then quickly progressed into counselling and psychotherapy. My initial training was with Lilly Stuart at SOLTAC in Transactional Analysis, I completed 2 years. This was followed by Ralate counsellor training 1992 to 1994 and then a Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Child and Family counselling 2007 to 2009.
I mainly use transactional analysis and systemic models when working with clients with the addition of a solution focused approach so identify with my clients what it is that they are having difficulty with, what they want to change, and then together explore ways of how they might make those changes.
