About me and my therapy practice

Making the first step to meet a therapist may feel daunting, yet it can be so rewarding by helping you learn about yourself and what has brought you here. Therapy is a vital component in an individual’s growth and self-awareness. Many people seek therapy for several reasons, whether it be anxiety, bereavement, trauma, stress and many other reasons that can be explored and worked through, with someone beside you, supporting you. My hope is to be someone you can reveal your true self to, without feeling judged, but to feel heard, understood and accepted. It is your space and time, that can be used exploring whatever you wish to bring.

I believe deeply in the potentials of trust, empathy and self-awareness as a means of healing psychological wounds and helping us reach our full potential. As a person centred counsellor, I can offer you a confidential, safe space for our professional working relationship. It would be a privilege to be alongside you on your journey, working at your pace with care and compassion.

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” - Carl Rogers (A Way Of Being)
