About me and my therapy practice
You may come into therapy not knowing what to expect or what you need. I can facilitate the process of you understanding yourself better and finding direction. Often we are more forgiving of others than we are of ourselves, which gets in the way of us reaching our potential. You may find anxiety, depression or other negative feelings are holding you back in your life and your relationships. Perhaps you are ready to work towards changing that.
The relationship between counsellor and client is fundamental to therapy. I offer an accepting, understanding and genuine relationship, and a space that is yours. I provide a rare experience of being truly listened to without judgement. In this supportive relationship you can begin to develop a better, kinder relationship to yourself and others.
I have nearly a decade of experience providing counselling in different settings- further education, young adult wellbeing services, and mental health charities. I offer therapy for individuals in a safe, confidential and accepting environment on a short-term or long-term basis depending on your needs.
