AvailabilityI see clients between Monday-Thursday. I do not currently have space for new clients but it’s worth getting in touch to check as this changes fairly often.
About me and my therapy practice
You might find that what has been happening in the last 18 months has brought up a lot for you. Many people are rethinking their relationships, careers and priorities. There might be a lot you shelved while getting on with coping with lockdowns and the various impacts of the pandemic.
Therapy is a great space to bring your questions and uncertainties and identify what is most important to you. I offer a supportive and affirmative relationship in which you can gain self awareness, become kinder to yourself, and thrive.
I am a professionally trained, qualified and accredited person-centred humanistic therapist. I have a particular interest and experience in working with LGBTQ+ and queer clients and young people (over 18).
I have nearly a decade of experience providing counselling in different settings- further education, young adult wellbeing services, and mental health charities. I offer therapy for individuals on a long-term, open-ended basis with regular reviews.
My first session
An initial appointment with me is an assessment for both of us, to see how we might work together. It will give me a sense of what's bringing you for therapy, and the context you're coming from.
