About me and my therapy practice
We all face challenges in life, often these challenges get in the way of what we want to achieve. I would like to offer support to those looking to process their thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental safe space, in order to face and overcome those challenges.
Counseling can be a daunting experience, however in my experience it can also be one which is hugely enriching and can be an opportunity to evaluate what we value most as people.
I have experience working with all types of people, and have worked with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, couple counseling and work related stress. I have a particular interest in working with client’s relationships at work, home and in social situations. Also, coming from a professional background in special education needs, I also have a keen interest in working with people living with learning difficulties. In addition, I currently work at The MacMillain Horizon Center with cancer patients and family members of cancer patients after they have received treatment.
I work with both couples and clients on an individual basis, please feel free to get in touch to arrange an introductory session to explore what is important to you and see if we are a good match as counsellor and client.
