About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified counsellor with over 15 years experience of counselling primarily in the voluntary sector, working with people aged 10 - 65, around Leeds and Bradford. I work with a range of issues including PTSD, depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationships, family breakdown, attachment, domestic violence and abuse, isolation and loneliness, childhood trauma, exam stress, crisis of belief, substance use, sexual abuse, psychological abuse and bullying.
I work in an integrative way, which means I can work with a range of theories including Humanistic/ Person Centred, Transactional Analysis, Solution Focussed Therapy and CBT, to find the way which best suits you.
I will work at pace that suits you and offer a space where you can talk about what issues are affecting you, in an non judgemental, honest and confidential environment.
Sessions are delivered in Leeds City Centre on evenings and weekends depending on availability. I usually offer up to 12 sessions, although this is flexible. I can offer an initial consultation to allow you to say a bit about what has brought you to counselling after which you can decide whether counselling is for you.
