During the Covid-19 crisis I am available to offer online counselling at flexible times by prior arrangement.

Following careful risk assessment I am offering face to face counselling (subject to Government restrictions) in my clinic in Wellington which has a large spacious room to allow for adequate social distancing.

About me and my therapy practice

Thanks for visiting my profile.  I feel passionately about working  with and empowering clients in the best way possible to move forward in life, supporting you to find resolution to whatever difficulties are troubling you which have brought you to counselling.

Over the years I have observed how anybody can be affected by traumatic life changing events at any time. Often we do not seek help until reaching a point where we feel so overwhelming we recognise that something needs to change You may have a specific problem for which you are seeking help, or you may feel troubled but are not sure why.

I have a special interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, disordered eating and eating disorders, lack of confidence/self esteem, life transitions inc bereavement, redundancy, divorce, loss, relocation, relationship difficulties and supporting clients on an emotional level with physical health conditions.

In addition to working in private practice I have volunteered as counsellor with SWEDA Eating Disorder Team and a Bereavement Support Team.

I have always felt passionately about supporting people through difficult and challenging times. For many years I worked in the NHS as medical secretary for in a mental health team before setting up in private practice as a complementary therapist in 2013, where my special interest has been supporting people whose mental and emotional health has impacted on their physical health.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like a free informal appointment to explore how I may be able to help you.

Practice description

I offer a safe space where you will feel supported, listened to, treated with respect, empathy and without judgement. As an integrative counsellor I am able to work creatively incorporating a number of different approaches individually tailored to best suit your needs.

My comfortable spacious therapy room in Wellington is in a central yet discreet location with car parking nearby. Close to the Junction 26 M5 motorway network for clients travelling from further afield.

I have undertaken a thorough risk assessment with regard to Covid 19 in compliance with government guidelines and respecting 2 metre social distancing and we can discuss the measures I have put into place for the safety of both my clients and myself when you contact me.
