About me and my therapy practice
I am a senior therapist with many years of experience working with adults, young people, and couples. I have experience working in private, NHS, and other public sectors. Additionally, I have been working as a Psychotherapy Supervisor and lecturer for budding therapists.
I utilise various models of approach in my work, including Psychotherapy such as CBT, Systemic Psychotherapy, and Hypno-psychotherapy. All of which are tailored specifically to help you overcome these difficulties.
In order to stay neutral and appreciate each individual unique story, I access both my professional and personal learning and apply them where relevant.
As a self-reflexive therapist, I actively seek to recognise my own biases and their impact on my clients. This has enabled me to become a curious and good listener with a non-judgmental approach when offering therapy or relating to others.
I have extensive experience in psychological therapies. My values of working with clients start from building a genuine therapeutic alliance and understanding the client's journey up until the time they decide to see me. The client and I will then work on establishing a set goal in improving their lifestyle. We will evaluate each option together and co-construct new realities and narratives in talking therapy. This encourages clients to process and relate to life differently, thus igniting the desired lifestyle change.
Change is possible when we became aware of the necessity of making a difference. Once the awareness is at a level to activate the self of urgency for change, then the difference begins.
I am committed to creating a warm, safe and optimistic environment for you. . With extra focus on instilling hope for a better future.

My first session
My first session is an opportunity for both you and I to understand what brought you to therapy?
If you would like to work with me, the first thing you would need to do is book an introductory session to explore what brought you to therapy now and how I can help you achieve your goals. In this session, I will briefly explain different therapy models and their ways of impacting change.
In this session, you will gain a sense of who I am and more about how I provide my service. We can then decide the next steps in your therapeutic journey.
We may use some questionnaires to help us to rate how you are feeling. You will be in control of your journey alongside me.
I answer all the initial questions and assess how the presenting concern is impacting your well being .
We start therapy after that session .
In the following sessions, we will develop a detailed plan together on how to work towards your aim. We will revise our plan at regular intervals to monitor your progress.
