About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred counsellor offering face-to-face sessions in West Lothian and online sessions through Zoom. You might be experiencing anxiety, depression or stress, or perhaps you’ve been through a difficult life event and are finding it hard to cope. Maybe something just doesn’t feel right for you and you don’t know why. Whatever is troubling you, it can be helpful to talk to someone who will listen to you with warmth, empathy and without judgement.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I offer a confidential space where we will work at your pace with whatever you choose to bring. I will support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings so that you can gain deeper insight and make any changes you need to move forward in your life.
My first session
I am happy to offer a free short telephone call before we meet to help you decide if I might be someone you can talk to.
At your first session we can discuss what is bringing you to counselling and what you would like to get from your sessions. I will explain more about how I work and go through a counselling agreement with you, to let you know what you can expect from our work together.
