About me and my therapy practice

I provide a safe, professional and containing space where you can explore what is concerning you. Talking to an experienced psychotherapist who is clinically trained to help you make some sense of your thoughts and feelings is the first step towards feeling better.

I work with adults of all ages and deal with a wide range of issues, as highlighted below. Having lived and worked in different parts of the world, I am experienced in working with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures.

Often situations in the present have roots in the past. As a therapist, my role is to help disentangle these and support you in paving the way towards living your own life with greater ease, self-awareness and emotional freedom.

I offer short-term counselling as well as longer term psychotherapy

In private practice I see people in two different locations in Central London (City EC4) and South London (Beckenham BR3) as well as online (via Skype). Please visit my website  www.catherinemusto.com  for more information.

Until recently, in addition to my private practice, I have worked as an honorary psychotherapist within the NHS at Guy’s Hospital, London and in a voluntary capacity as a counsellor for Cruse National Bereavement Charity.

I operate a sliding scale fee system from £75 in Central London (the City EC4). I also offer a limited number of reduced fee places.

To arrange an initial appointment you can contact me confidentially on my practice mobile number (07941 362555) or by email.

An initial appointment will provide an opportunity for us to think about what is troubling you, discuss your expectations of therapy and have a sense of what it is like for us to work together. You will then be able to decide if I am the right person for you.
