About me and my therapy practice

I am a Person-Centered Counsellor. I work with the whole person and do not limit my approach to working with specified issues. I believe that deep down you have the answers to your concerns, and with some support and compassion, you will be able to access these.

I see my job as being a companion with you, as you navigate a way through, and find a more effective way of being that works for you and your life. 

It's not my for me to tell you how to live your life, but to share your reality, and help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your behaviours.


Practice description

I have been in practice for 12 years, most of that time in private practice. I work with individuals or groups.

As a member of the BACP I abide by their Ethics and Code of Practice (a copy of this can be found on the BACP website)

When we work together I will endeavour to hear you, to give you time in a confidential, safe, accepting  space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

My first session

Our initial contact will be via the telephone, or email where you may wish to share some of the reasons for seeking counselling. This is usually quite brief . If we decide to, we can then arrange a longer 'trial' session to see how we feel about working together.

Supervision can vary depending on the Supervisees needs/wants and I willing and able to be flexible with this. 

My wish is for you to find Supervision a safe, nurturing, supportive space for you and your practice.
