About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling and sensing that you might need some support? Are you experiencing feelings that are difficult to cope with? Seeking help when we feel isolated or stuck is very courageous, it can also help us to regain control of our lives.
Sometimes we are feeling lost or can’t cope with certain aspects of our lives. It can be helpful to just be listened to when we feel overwhelmed.
I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment in which to share your story. Here you can explore safely what it might be that is troubling you.
Growing awareness will enable you to make conscious choices. You will gain a sense of your own agency and will be able to live your life more fully.
Your needs within our therapeutic relationship are uppermost.
I am interested in your relationships outside of therapy as well as in our therapeutic relationship and how this might develop.
I am curious about your formative years, your ‘family’ dynamics and the affects those might have on your sense of self.
I like to explore imagery and creative expression and might incorporate dreams, imagination and guided visualization to deepen your process of self-exploration.
The transpersonal aspect of the work is providing a soulful element and is offering to go beyond our ego identity, exploring a sense of interconnectedness with nature and the planet as a whole.
Training, qualifications and experience
I am a qualified Integrative Transpersonal Counsellor with a Diploma from the Re-Vision Training Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP accredited). I am a registered member of the BACP and follow their ethical framework.
