About me and my therapy practice

Young people often internalise problems, a change in behaviour might be the only sign they are struggling. Counselling can help young people deal with feelings and events that impact on their mental health. I use play when working with children which can be an effective tool in therapy for expression, communication and relationship building. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space and conversations that enable my clients to make sense of things they are finding difficult. Counselling can help with anxiety, anger management, behaviour issues, body issues, depression, domestic violence, emotional abuse, exam stress, feeling sad, low mood, low self confidence, low self esteem, difficulties with relationships, stress, trauma, this list is not exhaustive. I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation for you to ask any questions you may have with no obligation. I have worked with young people for over 10 years in various settings.

Practice description

My counselling practice offers a safe space for young people to talk through their fears and worries or anything they are finding difficult. Trained at The Institute for Art in Therapy and Education as an integrative counsellor means that I use different theories to inform my practice depending on what feels right. I work from a relational perspective in that the relationship between the counsellor and the client is central to the work. I have completed an Online and Telephone counselling course which means that I am a certified Online and Telephone Counsellor.
