About me and my therapy practice
Are you looking for counselling or psychoanalytic therapy in Manchester city centre?
My therapy practice is in the Royal Exchange, St Ann's Square.
I am experienced in working with a wide ranger of symptoms, including anxiety, panic and phobias, as well as with sadness, depression and low self-esteem.
Your first appointment provides an opportunity for us to consider what brings you to therapy.
For some people this appointment can be both exciting and stressful while others may feel calm and relaxed. Individual reactions differ though everything discussed is treated in confidence.
During our appointment a fuller picture will emerge and you may also become aware of other things that were not previously on your mind.
• I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychodynamic therapist at this registered practice, established in 2011
• Before qualifying as a therapist, I pursued a first career as an Art Historian for 20 years, holding increasingly senior positions within UK universities
• I draw on 2 years work as a Counsellor for a leading private health care provider, and 2 years work as Therapist for a North West charity
• I play an active role in Manchester's network of therapists. For example, I am chair of the North West Regional Psychotherapy Association (nwrpa.org.uk)
