About me and my therapy practice
My focus is always on you. I aim to build a caring relationship where you feel listened to. Past events can affect us for a long time. Let's make things change for the better.
Counselling support can often help you to see things differently when life feels like its just too much. A therapy session can give you time and space to explore what is happening for you.
You don't need to be in crisis to have therapy. If you're experiencing difficulties therapy can often help to put your thoughts and fears into perspective. Together we can work towards a more contented you whether in one session or more, being listened to can have huge benefits.
I offer you the space to talk about how you are feeling working towards the person you want to be. Life for many of us has been stressful. A short call will give us the opportunity to check out and see whether you fell comfortable with me. It is an important part of the way I work that we develop a trusting, caring relationship.
Due to Covid 19 I am presently working using video links or telephone support. Due to the current change in Government guidelines I am no longer able to offer face to face therapy. I hope to return to socially distanced sessions in my conservatory as soon as guidelines allow. Further details will be available in the near future.
My first session
Prior to our first session, we will have made contact either by email or phone and I will have asked you for your details so I can send you some paperwork and a copy of my contract for you to read prior to the session.
This will give us time to talk about what you would like some help with. You may wish to tell me a few things you want to talk about in our future sessions.
This session will be an opportunity for us to build a relationship where you feel accepted and listened to.
