About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified CBT/EMDR therapist who has suffered depression and anxiety within my own life. My inspiration for the work that I have chosen was born out of my own need to put an end to my negative thinking and bring about change for a more fulfilling life.
Now working with in a eclectic style I combine CBT alongside other therapy techniques I have now learnt to help my clients understand and come to terms with many different issues. I work with all age groups from children to the elderly, and from all walks of life. I believe that no matter what your age – it is never too early, or too late, to bring about change and enrich your life with self understanding and discovery.
In addition to my diploma, I have had specialist training in other areas, and have worked with trauma, PTSD, emergency service personal, anxiety, sexual abuse, rape, depression and bereavement. I have also trained in Emotional Freedom Therapy, Pain Therapy, Transactual Analysis and qualified as a Wellbeing Coach and Hypnotherapist, which forms part of the professional counselling service that I offer.
