About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist and work on a one to one basis with adults in City of London, WC1B and Buckhurst Hill, IG9. I believe having a non-judgmental space to talk about our emotional or psychological difficulties can help us better understand what is troubling us. Greater insight into our thoughts and feelings mean they can feel less of a burden and allow us to live a freer, happier life. Together we would explore your current and past difficulties to try to understand how your current circumstances and past experiences are influencing your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I have an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling & Psychotherapy As well as my work in private practice, I have experience of working for the NHS North East London Foundation Trust as an honorary Psychotherapist, as well as working as a counsellor for Waterloo Community Counselling.
Practice description
Although I'm based in the City of London, I am currently working online using Zoom, Skype or Microsoft Teams depending on your preference.
My first session
We would start by meeting for an initial consultation to give us an opportunity to get to know each other a little and decide if the therapy I offer is likely to be of help to you. It may take two to three sessions to decide if we would like to start working together, but after these initial sessions there is no obligation for us to continue working together.

Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Child related issues, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, Loss, Men's issues, Obsessions, Phobias, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Work related issues
