About me and my therapy practice
Much of what we do in life we do without knowing why. Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy can help when things go wrong and you find yourself in yet another mental cul-de-sac. Sometimes life seems full of wrong turns and troubled relationships and you wonder ‘why me?’ I can help you explore your deeper unconscious motivations and work with you to find a new way forward. It may not feel like it right now, but life can get better.Practice description
There is a growing body of evidence that shows counselling is effective at treating a range of mental health issues.
I offer counselling in a calm, supportive environment for the times in life when you just need someone to come alongside you while you live through a period of sadness or loss.
This may be the death of someone you love, redundancy, the break- up of a relationship or simply the everyday anxieties of growing up or getting by in a competitive world.
Through all this I can provide a reassuring presence when you are troubled by tensions that are hard to share with family or friends
My first session
Initial contact by email to set up a phone consultation which is the opportunity to talk through any issues that are troubling you. We can then decide if or how I can help and agree a number of sessions or scope of the work going forward.
