About me and my therapy practice

My name is Harriet Schofield and I really believe in the potential for counselling to change lives.

I have experience of working with a wide range of clients who are struggling in life; with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, low self-esteem, anger, bereavement amongst other challenges. I also have years of experience of supporting those struggling with addiction.

More than I in 4 people access counselling or psychotherapy at some point in their lives (BACP, 2014). Therefore if you are unhappy or life feels like a struggle you are not alone.

I understand how frightening it can feel to feel stuck and like there is no way out, but I want you to know that if you are ready for things to change, then they can, however difficult things are feeling now. I have seen first-hand, both personally and professionally, the power counselling has to change lives and I really look forward to discussing how it can help you.

I offer counselling from a calm, comfortable counselling room in Market Harborough town centre. There are good transport links and parking nearby.

I offer a £35 reduced price initial session to give you a chance to meet me and see if counselling feels right for you.

All following sessions are charged at £50 per 50 minute session.
