About me and my therapy practice
Based in central Ayr, in a peaceful, discreet and safe setting. Whatever your current difficulties, my aim as a person-centred counsellor is to accompany you in understanding your experience, and to work with you to discover your way forward.
My name is Lloyd, and my genuine wish is for you to find that experience in counselling where you feel truly safe, where you feel comfortable and able to explore your feelings, thoughts and emotions, and really begin to make sense of whatever may be troubling you. I believe that you have a right to be supported in improving your life, and know that in the person-centred way of working collaboratively, letting you lead wherever it takes us, any discoveries are going to have more meaning for you and change is more likely to last. As with anything in life, there are no guarantees, but I am committed to working with you to achieve the best possible outcome. We will always work at your pace, which includes allowing trust to develop naturally, and meaning you speak about things only when you feel ready to do so – you are in control.
My counselling room is conveniently situated in central Ayr, the location is private and discreet yet is only a short distance from rail and bus services, with car-parking close-by. Further details are available through the website: www.ayrchiropractic.co.uk . The venue is a welcoming and friendly complementary health centre, has a managed reception that allows you to feel comfortable on entering; and has a separate, peaceful and confidential room set aside for counselling. Please note that there are two steps for routine access to the room, however provision can be made for access involving specific mobility requirements if notified in advance. The first step of starting to seek change can be empowering, so if I can help you at all at this stage, I would like to hear from you.
