About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with stress, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship problems or unwelcome thoughts or feelings? Does this leave you feeling alone or misunderstood? If so, counselling can help. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where we can work together and enable you to move towards greater self-acceptance and positive change.
I have been involved in personal development and particularly in drug and alcohol recovery, for over 30 years. I hold a CPCAB level 4 Diploma in integrative therapeutic counselling from the Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Academy. I work from a range of methodologies with a non-directive; ‘person centred’ foundation.
I offer an assessment session which is a chance for us to explore what you are hoping to get from counselling and how I can help. There is no obligation to continue with the therapy but if you wish to continue working together we will arrange regular weekly sessions of 50 minutes. I also offer online sessions via Skype.
I practice from an office building at my home in Tonbridge, Kent.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and discuss what you are looking for in therapy to gain an understanding of how I work and if I'm the right therapist for you.
I don't charge for the first session and may refer you on to another therapist or body.
