About me and my therapy practice
Making the decision to seek counselling can be daunting and it is especially important that you choose a therapist you feel comfortable and able to work with. I aim to provide you with a safe, grounded, non-judgemental space where you can talk about whatever has led you to counselling.
I am an experienced therapist working in Royal Wootton Bassett offering evening appointments. To enable you to get a sense of whether counselling is right for you I charge a reduced fee of £30 for your first session. This also gives us the opportunity to get to know each other a little and give you a sense of whether you feel I am the right counsellor for you.
My counselling background is Humanistic; I work predominantly within the Person Centred Counselling Model, but am able utilise a range of other counselling models. I have experience of working with a wide variety of clients, and have counselled with several charities, latterly a Carers charity. I have worked for many years with military families and am acutely aware of the stresses and uniqueness of military life.
I hold a current DBS enhanced certificate and am fully insured. As a BACP registered therapist I am committed to continuing my professional development, maintaining and adhering to the standards of the BACP's Ethical Framework.
