About me and my therapy practice
I am a Registered and Accredited Psychotherapist / Counsellor with the BACP and have been in practice for over 10 years, where I have gained experience working in the NHS, Relate, EAP’s and in Education, from Primary Schools to Universities. Whilst to become a Therapist, I first achieved a Master in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Level 7 Accredited Course). I then went on to train with Relate as a Couple Counsellor and a Young Persons Therapist. In addition, I have trained as an EMDR Therapist, which is recognised by the NHS for treatment for PTSD.
Currently I work as a therapist in education, which I undertake alongside my Private Practice, where I offer Counselling and Supervision. In my practice, I work with individuals, couples and young people, offering short-term and long-term counselling, in accordance with the client’s needs. I also recognise that each person is individual, as such I will adopt my approach to meet the client’s requirements, as the client will be at the centre of the therapy. For counselling is about working with the client, in a non-judgemental place, in order to allow them to reflect and explore their inner resources. In order to make a positive transformation, that will assist them to work towards achieving a healthy life.
