About me and my therapy practice

**Current Availability**

Hi everyone, I am a Person-Centred counsellor based in the centre of Glossop. I have a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have availability for face to face sessions, in a quiet and cosy room. I also can do phone or online sessions if that is more convenient.

I have experience working with many different clients, of different ages,  my most recent being with the Macmillan Centre in Trafford, where I worked as a bereavement and terminal illness counsellor. I have also worked with teenagers through the Brooke Centre in Manchester and previously as a teacher in special education.

Sometimes it really helps to just have a quiet place where you can talk about absolutely anything - and have someone listen with understanding and a commitment to help. For further information, or to book a session, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me at We can have a chat about what would suit you best.

I offer discounted sessions for counselling students.

Practice description

Counselling sessions can be arranged in different ways. I have a counselling room in Glossop where face to face appointments can take place. Its a quiet, private, cosy space where you can take time out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I am  also available for telephone or online sessions, depending on what suits your circumstances. Please feel free to contact me for a chat to find out more.

My first session

In our first session, I will give you some information about how the sessions work, and you will be able to talk about the reasons for coming to counselling.

Every session is at YOUR pace, and you can bring whatever is on your mind. This is your space, your time to get things off your chest, and to be listened to with respect and patience.
