About me and my therapy practice
I really understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. There are so many life events that can knock us off our path and make us feel unsure or unsettled, and it’s hard to stop for a minute and acknowledge our need of help.
There are times in life where the problems seem bigger than us, where sadness or worry take over and start to dominate our everyday lives. Then we can become anxious or depressed. Sometimes we all get into that position where we just don’t know which way to turn, or who to talk to. Now that you have made the first step of looking for a counsellor, let me tell you how I can help you.
I am an experienced Person-Centred Counsellor, which means that I will listen with calmness and empathy, exploring whatever you want to bring to each session.
I will provide a safe, non-judgemental, understanding, quiet space. Its a time apart for you to just be yourself, explore what’s happening in your life and know that you are being listened to.
I have experience of working with adult clients in various areas, such as bereavement, loss/grief, terminal illness, relationship issues, work-related issues, anxiety and depression.
