About me and my therapy practice

My Practice - Helping you find your way.

In these strange and difficult times you may be feeling troubled, anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, stuck, or unfulfilled. I provide a warm, supportive, confidential and open-minded space to explore your difficulties and life's uncertainties and confusions.  Working together our purpose will be to realise new understandings and ways of being so you can live a richer more fulfilling life. No subject is off limits.

I offer a holistic approach that views body, mind, emotions and spirit as inseparable aspects of being, all requiring care and concern. I work in a practical and philosophical way to help you engage and deal with what is troubling you.

Therapy provides perspective, makes sense of what has happened and provides a basis for moving forward.

I believe that respect for the individual, understanding and being real are important qualities for therapy.

I have extensive experience of working with clients experiencing many differing often long standing problems and concerns such as stress, anxiety, general anxiety disorder (GAD), panic, family  issues, relationship difficulties, loneliness and depression.

In addition I offer Autogenic Training on an individual and group basis. Autogenic Therapy is a simple but profound self-help technique to rebalance the bodies physiological stress response and reduce anxiety. (www.autogenic-therapy.org.uk)
