About me and my therapy practice
I am offering online and telephone counselling services throughout the UK. I specialise in supporting women’s health and wellness throughout the life cycle.
I am committed to listening to women and their needs. Sometimes things just feel too difficult to share with friends and family. Don't we all need a safe space to unburden that which hurts? So many women tell me that they need to make sense of things. They need to understand their reactions and feelings. They need to be free of the hurt and that which dominates their lives.
Without a doubt I know that the counselling process is the most natural way to recover, to get better, to move on, to get beyond the pain, to regain control, to feel happy again (or for the first time).
A little about me -
I'm Marina Broadley and I qualified in Contemporary Psychodynamic Counselling in 2006. My training was an incredibly intense 4year programme run by the University of Leicester. I think it was probably the most enlightening and transformational experience of my life.
I qualified with a distinction. A tremendous amount of heart-opening work had taken place and it needed to. I worked as a school and college counsellor in Leicestershire for a good few years, and also set up in private practice. Registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, my current private practices are located in Burbage and Kirby Muxloe.
Please feel welcome to get in touch with me. Counselling is an incredible process that is vital for your health, and all those who are in contact with by you. I would say it literally transforms lives.

About me and my therapy practice
I provide:
a) Private 1:1 mindfulness & meditation for women’s health issues.
b) Mindfulness in the Workplace.
Private 1:1 Mindfulness & Meditation for Women’s Health
As a professional counsellor I also trained to teach the wonderful practice of mindfulness.
The focus is on women's health issues and their well-being needs. I teach privately, 1:1, which is so transformational.
Change seems to happens quickly. Symptoms are relieved and a calmness settles in. These private sessions are extremely beneficial.
Every stage of life throws up particular challenges and stresses. I help young pre and post natal women, to peri and post menopausal mid-life women, to older women, some with physical health issues.
We all find huge health benefits in the teachings and the actual experience of practice, which includes breath-work and meditations that soothe and calm the nervous system.
Sessions cost £45 and are in-person, or by phone call, FaceTime or WhatsApp video call.
Mindfulness in the Workplace
Stress at work is highly contagious. Who isn’t looking for a calmer workplace environment? Stressed employees can benefit tremendously from a mindfulness and meditation practice.
I deliver ‘Mindfulness Works‘ training to groups, teams or departments within schools, businesses, charities and organisations in Leicester and Leicestershire. The stand-alone training sessions means that each session is complete in itself. You may wish to run them weekly, monthly or as and when needed.
Each on site 1 hour training session costs £125.00. The number of delegates does not affect the cost.
My first session
Arrange Your Private Session
The sessions involve teaching the practice, breathwork, meditations and discovering what our pesky minds are up to.
We see how we unknowingly add to our distress.
When we practice, we evolve, transform, grow and become more aware of how we make ourselves unwell. (Unintentionally of course).
The private sessions are for 1 hour and the cost is £45.
The sessions can be used as Continued Professional Development (CPD) if applicable to you. Just ask me for confirmation of attendance.
Sound good? To book or have a chat with me either call me, Marina on 07342 652090 or email me if you prefer.
(Please note, I cannot partake in a dual relationship with you. The relationship we have is either mindfulness client and teacher, or counselling client and counsellor. They are different.)
Well wishes,
Marina
