About me and my therapy practice

As a Registered Senior Accredited Counsellor and qualified Supervisor I have 20 years of full time counselling experience gained in a number of settings; NHS, Further & Higher Education, NSPCC, EAP (BUPA Approved Therapist) and private practice.  My Supervisory experience has been gained over 12 years during which time I have supervised individuals and groups of qualified and trainee Counsellors and Supervisors, specialist clinicians within the NHS, teaching and support staff within Further and Higher Education, Social Workers, trainee and qualified Psychologists within HMP and Probation Service.

Supervision is an integral part of my work as a Counsellor and Supervisor and as such I value it greatly.  In my role of Supervisor my aim is to offer a safe space in which all aspects of my Supervisee's work and its impact upon them can be explored.  I view this process as a shared enquiry the outcome of which has the potential to clarify, sustain, challenge and inform so offering a further exciting dimension to my Supervisee's work.
