About me and my therapy practice
My integrated approach is driven by the core principles of the Person-Centred Theory. However I offer other theories and interventions to underpin my work and give me and my clients further ways of understanding the difficulties they experience.
I am passionate about the work I do; respecting each individual, their experiences and choices, and committed to coming alongside.
My aim is to help my clients understand their symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, anger and low self-worth and how these factors affect and are affected by attitudes, self-beliefs, behaviour and relationships.
I work with adults and young people and am a counsellor at Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester.
My first session
Our first meeting will be an opportunity for us to find out a bit more about each other. I'll be asking you a few questions to help us find out whether the type of counselling I offer will be helpful for you. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have. If we decide to work together we will plan in six sessions initially and then agree where to go from there.
