About me and my therapy practice
FREE 20 minute consultation is available upon first contact
Primary Counselling Solutions offers counselling and psychotherapy for adults, adolescents and children and specialise in depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
Working as an Integrative Counsellor/Therapist, with experience within primary schools, charities and NHS, a unique and bespoke intervention plan can be created utilising a number of therapeutic perspectives (humanistic/psychodynamic/CBT) to really provide the change you are hoping for.
Within the private counselling room I can offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental approach to all clients who are currently experiencing difficulties in their life. Providing professional, empathic and encouraging support to make positive changes - we can work together, collaboratively to identify the areas of most concern. Through a full assessment, these concerns can be focused upon and a joint intervention plan can be created.
The private therapy practice based just off the high street in the market town of Great Dunmow, Essex (ample parking is within 2 minutes walk). Therapists are registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and all delivery of counselling services will be in accordance with the ‘Ethical Framework for Good Practice’ of the BACP. Supervision and record keeping (with data protection guidelines) all comply with the guidelines of the BACP.

FREE 20 minute consultation session is a chance for you to come and meet with me and decide whether you think I would be someone you would feel happy talking to and wish to continue working with. The session will be an opportunity for us to talk through the counselling contract and for you to ask any questions. We will talk briefly as to why you are seeking counselling/therapy at this time and what you hope to achieve from it. There is no obligation for you to take things further, however if you do decide you would like to commit to the counselling, further sessions can be booked at this stage. It is a good way of alleviating any apprehension you may have, and a warm welcome will be received.
Call today and speak with Joanne Welsh or email us at the address below: email@example.com for an initial no obligation confidential discussion.
