About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with general anxiety, panic or OCD? Do you want to be able to better manage your anxiety but also want to look deeper and explore the root of your problems?
I practice an integrative approach drawing on humanistic, cognitive and experiential schools of psychotherapy.
In practice, you choose a topic to explore and I will help you make sense of what is really going on for you. Sometimes, I may ask you to pause and inwardly sense a bodily felt sensation that accompanies a topic and sometimes I’ll gently recommend some simple strategies to help you better manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I specialise in anxiety related issues such as generalised anxiety disorder, OCD and panic. Having lived with anxiety myself as well as having worked for Anxiety UK since 2018 I can relate to individuals who struggle with constant worry. Over the past few years, I have learned and further developed effective methods that have helped many clients cope better with their anxiety. However, I also have experience in working with relationship issues, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, work - related issues, anger and bereavement.

My practice is a spacious, quite and comfortable room located on the ground floor of my home (2 meters from the entrance). Plenty of parking spaces are available near the entrance.
My first session
The initial session is 1 hour long. You will have the opportunity to tell me about yourself, what brought you to counselling, as well as your goals and expectations of therapy. We will also set aside some time to go through the therapy contract and complete a short initial assessment.
