About me and my therapy practice
Hi, thank you for looking at my profile...
My name is Joanne and I am an Integrative Counsellor. Being integrative means that I combine various approaches and tools to meet the individual needs of each client.
I offer a safe space for you to discuss your experiences, explore your issues, and perhaps find ways to bring about change and improve your wellbeing. I provide support that is confidential, trusting and non-judgemental. I am fully qualified, and a registered member of the BACP.
I have worked within the community for over 16 years, mainly within the fields of Mental Health, Autism, and Learning Disability. Initially working within support work, training and facilitation, and later progressing in to counselling. This has allowed me to work in various agencies and locations including Childline, Contact NI, Action Mental Health (AMH), primary and post primary schools and homeless charities.
Some of the areas that I have experience working with and an interest in include anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, and life changes & decisions.
Please get in contact if you have any questions or would like more information.
