About me and my therapy practice
By working together, counselling can help us to explore and make sense of difficult feelings and experiences. I offer a safe and non-judgemental space where you can gain a clearer understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and come to terms with painful and difficult feelings. Better understanding of ourselves gives us more choice how we respond to others and events, rather than being driven by old patterns of behaviour which may be unhelpful.
How does it work?
You can contact me initially by phone or email to arrange an initial consultation (at a reduced fee of £20) during which we explore what brings you to therapy and I can answer any questions you might have. Subsequent sessions usually take place once a week at the same time for 50 (individuals) or 60 (couples/relationships) minutes.
I am a fully-qualified counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (University of East London) and a Certificate in Person-centred Couples Counselling (Counselling Works).
