About me and my therapy practice
Therapy can offer you a safe space to process difficult feelings as well as to gain a better understanding about yourself to help you move forward.
I am a qualified therapist both in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and CBT. I am a BACP registered member and abide by BACP code of ethics. I can practise in either English or Turkish language. I work in variety of settings, such as multicultural mental health community setting linked to an NHS Trust and a Community Support Centre.
I offer short term and longer ongoing therapy. We will work together to choose which therapeutic approach is more suitable to your needs. We can together explore and try to understand the reasons that brought you to seek support. By exploring your current patterns of relating to yourself, others and the origin of your specific problem can provide you with your own answer for a lasting change.
We can also work to understand your difficult feelings by particularly exploring together your thinking, assumptions and core beliefs. If you wish to work further we can also look at your early years’ experience in relation to your specific problem.
Throughout my practise and experience of living in another culture I have a culturally sensitive approach. I have a warm, non-judgemental approach and I am adaptable to your needs.
