About me and my therapy practice
About my Practice
“The master of your life is you”
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile; I hope you find it useful.
I am a person-centred counsellor, but blend multiple aspects of other approaches, such as CBT, Attachment Theory, and TA, to better inform our work together.
The aim of my framework is to provide a safe and understanding space, where the relationship can grow and strengthen. From there, you are given the freedom to choose your path, alongside an authentic and understanding therapist.
A key part of my framework is the belief I am not the master of anyone’s life but my own - I believe we come in to therapy from a world where people can make themselves the authority of other’s lives. By keeping this away from the therapeutic process, I believe our relationship will strengthen, paving the way for change to blossom.
I offer an initial free 30 minute informal consultation, where we will get to know one another, and see if we’re the right fit to work together. There are no obligations, and of course we will work at a pace you feel comfortable with.
If we are both happy to work together, sessions are 50 minutes at a cost of £40.
