About me and my therapy practice

Currently I have no availabilty. I will change this if I have a space.

I have found working online to be a very effective modality , and have chosen this as a way forward for my work. The work is always collaborative, and can be goal oriented or exploratory, and switch between these as needed. My main modality is IFS, although our integrate others models as agreed with clients .

Practice description

I am an experienced trauma therapist, having work in the NHS for 15 years and having led teams. My original training was humanistic and systemic, but in the last 12 years have incorporated both EMDR (accredited) and Internal Family Systems ( IFS, level 3 trained and regular assistant in trainings). I have found IFS, from a somatic perspective, to be very helpful for those who have experienced developmental or complex trauma. I can also integrate various other models in consultation with the client.

My first session

I am happy to give a no fee 30 min initial chat for us to see if we believe we could be a good match for each other. This could lead to an initial 6 week contract, before the possibility of entering a longer term therapeutic relationship.

I no longer ask clients to fill in assessment forms, but have various assessment forms available should clients want these.
