About me and my therapy practice

Having experienced my fair share of turbulent and difficult relationships throughout different stages of my life both with myself and those around me I developed a real passion to help others learn the skills needed to build healthier relationships in their lives.

This means something different for everyone and I’m sure it means something different for you.

I consider myself extremely lucky that I get to work with individuals who trust me to share their stories and I love seeing the changes made along the way.

Maybe your anxiety is preventing you from having fulfilling relationships either socially or at work, or maybe you’d like to learn what a healthy relationship looks like so that you can go on to experience healthier relationships in the future.

Perhaps a stressful workload is putting a strain on your relationship or decreasing your job satisfaction and you’d like some support on how you can better manage your stress.

Or maybe you’re hoping to stop comparing yourself to others and gain body confidence and self-acceptance.

Whatever you’re coming to counselling with, I will work with you, at your pace to help you deepen your understanding of yourself and those around you so that you can go on to build happier and healthier relationships with yourself and the people in your life.

Practice description

How I work

As an integrative counsellor, I combine several therapeutic approaches rather than one model, enabling me to offer counselling best suited to you.

I work online, confidentially via end-to-end encrypted platforms, or over the phone.

Qualifications

  •  6 years experience both in person, online and by telephone.
  • NCFE Level 3 in Counselling Skills and Theory
  • Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling
  • Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) MBACP
  • Continued professional development in a range of areas.

My first session

I offer a FREE 15 minute introduction call to help you explore whether counselling is right for you. It’s also a good chance for you to see whether you would feel happy to work with me and for you to let me know what you would want to bring to your sessions.

Please contact me to arrange a suitable time for this call.

If after this call you decide you would like to go ahead with counselling - you can decide whether you would like your sessions via zoom or telephone.

Our first session will be an assessment, where I will ask questions to assess what is currently going on for you so I can ensure we work safely together and you get the most out of your sessions.
