About counselling

The therapy I offer is called the person centred approach, a non-directive type of counselling which works to help individuals find their own best answer to their situation. This can really benefit those who feel lost or are finding it difficult to trust their own judgement. Former clients have reported feeling calmer, and more confident in their work & relationships following therapy.

What happens next?

  1. Call or email me now for a brief discussion about your needs.
  2. We will book you a confidential initial assessment appointment. This lasts 50 minutes and will give you an opportunity to talk through what’s troubling you and what you’re seeking. You will have an experience of working with me to help you decide on a way forward that's right for you.
  3. Should you wish to continue, counselling sessions take place once a week. Your therapy can be brief-focussed or ongoing. 

About me

I have more than 10 years’ experience with adults & children in education, private practice and the corporate sector since qualifying with a Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling in 2008.
