About me and my therapy practice
My approach focuses on relational experience. While this mainly attends to clients and their situation, I also support the development of deeper and broader relational perspectives. These cover both the relationship between therapist and client, and the wider contexts within which this relationship unfolds, including:
The therapist's state of mind and self-awareness
The therapist's feelings towards the client
Issues of equality, diversity and power
The supervisory relationship itself
The wider world
I also attend to: the supervisory relationship and its development, ethical practice and transpersonal experiences and perspectives, where appropriate to a supervisee's practice.
My own core modality is Psychosynthesis "psychology with a soul", an integrative, humanistic and transpersonal psychology.
I supervise therapists of all modalities and other healthcare professionals both individually and in groups.
I also have a special interest in supporting therapists through BACP accreditation both individually and in groups.
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Supervision from The Minster Centre, London.
