About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Janet Kelly. I am a BA (Hons) qualified counsellor. I have gained experience working with MIND (Mental Health Charity) and Place2Be (Children’s Mental Health Charity). I work with adolescents, adults and children age 7 plus. An empathetic, non-judgmental and person-centered approach to therapy forms the core of the way I work. An integrative approach to therapy, is a combined approach to counselling that brings together different elements of specific therapies. The view is taken that there is no single approach which can treat each client in all situations. Rather, each person needs to be considered as a whole and counselling techniques must be tailored to their individual needs and personal circumstances.
