Covid-19: Providing both online (Zoom/Skype/Teams) and face to face sessions in central London. Rooms are cleaned and ventilated regularly in-between the sessions, hand sanitisers are available in the rooms and throughout the building.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I am Lila and welcome,

I have been in the personal development industry for a couple of decades through my counselling and life coaching background. My experiences are very versatile, multi-cultural and international, and I always feel honoured to assist others in their journey. I enjoy my work, and perhaps like you, I have experienced life's very lows and highs: in relationships, love, career, finances and lots more. I am an accredited wellbeing life coach and maintain a holistic approach when helping people. A holistic approach looks at your total wellbeing: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual, also known as a body, mind and soul approach.

People come to coaching for various reasons. In most cases, even if your goals and dreams are clear, you might still find yourself in the dark and not achieving your desired results, being passive, procrastinating or not executing the right actions. You may not know why you feel stuck or are unproductive and therefore reaching out is the first step in the right direction to your success. It's time for YOU now!

How I work

Understanding the human psyche and human growth is a big passion of mine, which resulted in various studies such as a Masters' in intercultural Communication & Relationships, BSc in Psychotherapy, Wellbeing Life Coaching, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness and Advaita Vedanta (spirituality).

To help you achieve success in all areas of your life I usually draw on quite a few methods, modalities and techniques that will suit your needs, and derived from life coaching, psychology, sociology, mindfulness, emotionally focused therapy, and experiential learnings. We are all unique beings, looking for solutions that will best suit us personally; and that is what I provide. I work with individuals and couples.

Before we agree to work together we will arrange a free consultation of 30 min. to find out if I will be able to help you.

ABOUT ME

I am an experienced and well-trained therapist/counsellor and work with individuals (adults) since 2006, couples (including intercultural/or cross-cultural relationships) and parent and child (adult).

I hold a master's degree in Intercultural Relationships, a BSc. degree in Integrative Counselling, a certificate in Emotionally Focused Therapy (couples) and a certification in Holistic Life Coaching.

SERVICES I OFFER:

COUPLES/MARRIAGE THERAPY (including intercultural/cross-cultural relationships)

Whether in a relationship or marriage, spending time together can bring quite some challenges too, no matter how much you care and love each other. Couples therapy can be a place to explore what you are currently going through in the partnership, and it covers a variety of issues such as arguments, verbal fights, affairs, betrayal of trust, emotional abuse, rape, domestic violence, communication, jealousy, possessiveness, polyamory, cultural clashes, and much more.

I use various techniques and knowledge when working with couples, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which has one of the highest success rates. Fees £160

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY/COUNSELLING (incl cross-cultural therapy)

Individual therapy can help with a wide range of issues, whether experienced in the past or the here-and-now. Issues can include childhood neglect, sexual abuse, abandonment, violence, addictions, rape, grief, depression, stress, generalised anxiety and much more. You are not alone, and reaching out is the first step in the right direction. I am specialised in dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, relationships.

My first session

YOUR FIRST SESSION WITH ME

Before you start with your first session, you can have a free 15 min. call or Zoom meeting with me to find out whether we are suited to each other.

If we both agree to work together, we will then plan the first session to start your therapy. We will then arrange to see each other regularly, mostly weekly, at the same time and day of the week (there is flexibility), either face to face (Central London) or through Zoom, or a combination (depending on where you live) or by phone.

All sessions last 50 minutes and start promptly. Missed or cancelled sessions will be charged at the normal rate unless it was communicated 48h beforehand. Confidentiality is a very important part of the work and maintained throughout unless I fear you want to harm others or yourself (this will be explained fully once we meet). 

Therapy is a space where you can take all your time to talk, think, feel and be without being judged and supported at the same time.
