About me and my therapy practice
I provide face-to-face and online counselling for individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds. I work primarily from emotion focused therapy perspective, which focuses on helping people become more secure, resilient and connected with themselves and with each other through emotion. As a counsellor, I'm warm, empathic and non-judgmental and will help you work through whatever you are experiencing.
I have previously worked in the NHS doing cognitive behavioural therapy for depression and anxiety related disorders and as a couple and family therapist in the U.S. working on relational problems (e.g., communication, trauma, infidelity, extended family issues) and currently work for the relationship charity, Relate, as well as see clients in a private practice. I'm also currently working towards a PhD in Psychology.
