About me and my therapy practice
Why would you consider therapy? There could be all sorts of reasons, whether a specific issue or circumstance, or just a desire to better understand yourself, your life and your relationships with others.
I’m a BACP registered psychotherapist and counsellor with an MA in psychotherapy and counselling. I work in Denmark Hill, with over 10 years' experience of offering both short and long term therapy.
I view therapy as a joint process, a way to make sense of the world in a safe, non-judgemental environment. I aim to work creatively and collaboratively with you. I don’t view myself as the expert on your life, but someone who can explore with you the things that give it meaning.
You might have a particular issue you wish to think about, for example anxiety, depression, psychosomatic illness, bereavement, pregnancy and parenthood, relationship difficulties, sexual issues, addiction, cultural issues or low self-esteem. Or you might just feel that this is the right time to explore and discuss your life, your choices and expectations, and any changes you want to make.
