About me and my therapy practice
I am on leave until March 12th 2019, messages and emails will be answered on my return.
As a part of my training I had to be in therapy and so had to find myself a counsellor. I therefore understand how daunting it can be to take that first step towards finding the right person to talk to. This is why I offer a FREE INITIAL SESSION. We will meet in my counselling room, which adjoins my home in a peaceful rural setting with ample free parking, and have a chat. You can ask any questions you may have (there are no silly questions), maybe tell me a little of why you have come, and you can begin to get a sense of who I am and how I work.
We can also talk about frequency and cost of sessions. I usually suggest that we meet weekly, however this is up to you; we would talk about how the work is going at regular intervals throughout our time together and you can decide to finish whenever you feel ready.
At the end of the initial session you can either make an appointment for another one, or you can go away and think about it.
There is more information about me, the way I work, and what my fees are, on my website; you can also see a photograph of my counselling room.
I am also a qualified supervisor of individuals and groups.

About me and my therapy practice
I am on leave until March 12th 2019, messages and emails will be answered on my return.
I am a person-centred practitioner offering supervision based on the normative, formative and restorative approach. My aim is to build a consultative, collaborative relationship with my supervisees balancing challenge and support in order to develop an atmosphere where each person can fulfill their full potential.
My therapy room is large enough to accommodate a small group and I am happy to discuss rates for group supervision. I also offer a reduced rate for counsellors in training.
I have a diploma in individual and group supervision awarded by Cascade. For over eight years I was counselling coordinator at Sussex Community Counselling which offers placements to trainee counsellors as well as having a team of qualified practitioners.
