About me and my therapy practice

Hello , my name is Jan , I am pleased to meet you

I am a fully insured qualified counselling therapist .

I am a warm genuine , caring person that is offering a safe, confidential , non judgemental space to encourage you to find your way forwards to being a positive version of yourself .

I understand that it can be difficult to express your inner thoughts and feelings to a complete stranger, but I will be there to gently guide , help and support you to slowly unpack any issues you are currently experiencing or have experienced in your past.

Have you been overthinking ? feeling overwhelmed ?

A sense that something “ is not quite right ”

and you cannot  “see the woods for the trees ”

then counselling therapy could be beneficial for you.

I believe that we have many of the answers within ourselves and sometimes we need a little help to understand these issues .

We could work together :

- to encourage you to feel safe ,supported and able to trust the working relationship, to be open and honest and to move forwards in a positive way

- for you to become more self-aware and have some clarification of why you think , feel, and behave in the way that you do

- to gain understanding on how your childhood experiences and environment may be shaping your adult life

- to give you the guidance ,help and support to make any changes and reach your achievable goals

- to understand your attachment style within your relationships-to learn the importance of how it feels to be heard, validated , and to be kinder to yourself.
