About me and my therapy practice
Hello. Thank you for visiting my profile.
My name is Michele and I am a Person Centred Counsellor based in Redditch and surrounding areas.
We all face challenges, dilemmas, fears, problems and issues in life. Sometimes we can cope well but at other times we may find ourselves struggling to cope and in need of extra support. This is especially true in these difficult times we find ourselves in. You may be feeling isolated away from family and friends, lost without your usual routines of work and social life. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, coping with a bereavement after the loss of a loved one. Are you in a troubled relationship or going through a divorce ? Or have you lost your way and can't see the way forward and just feel stuck in the situation.
The aim of counselling is to provide a safe, confidential space in which to explore your feelings and thoughts freely, with support, empathy and understanding, without the fear of being judged. I can help you explore those difficult areas of your life, make sense of your feelings, explore opportunities to change and finding the right path to move forward.
Sometimes in life we just need someone to listen, to walk alongside us on our journey. I offer sessions on both a short and long term basis. I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation with no obligation to book so we can discuss the issues you wish to address and what support I can offer you.

My first session
Our initial session will give us a chance to meet and ensure that you feel comfortable with me. We can talk about what issues are troubling you at the moment and what support I may be able to offer you. You can ask any questions you may have about entering therapy and at the end of the session you can decide if you would like to proceed.
All sessions are 50 minutes long and are scheduled at a time suitable for your needs, usually on a weekly basis.
