About me and my therapy practice
As far as your friends and family can tell, you're doing really well. But inside, you're finding it difficult to come to terms with something painful. It's hard to get a handle on your emotions since you lost that special relationship, your job or someone in your life.
You're feeling deep sadness, you can't focus and you're anxious about the future. Trying to deal with these feelings by yourself can be lonely, painful and exhausting.
You want to talk about how you're really feeling but you don't want to burden your friends or worry your family. It would be great to feel able to get through the day.
If you've reached a point where you'd like to work through a painful experience, adjust to the new normal and start looking toward the future, then you've come to the right place.
I'm easy to talk to and skilled at building therapeutic relationships that can support you through difficult times. I'll provide you with a place to breathe and explore how you feel, without judgement - so you can focus on what's next for you.

Sessions take place via Zoom and I'll send step by step details of how to join our sessions. I look forward to meeting you.

My first session
Finding a counsellor that's right for you is important, so the first session is a chance for us to meet, discuss what brought you to counselling and find out whether us working together feels right for you. It's a 30 minute session.
I'll ask a bit about your background to help me better understand what's going on for you, and you can ask questions you might have about how we could work together.
You can choose the number of sessions that work for you:
- Brief therapy - Usually between 6 and 12 sessions.
- Time-limited - An agreed number of sessions.
- Open-ended - Working toward an agreed goal.
We can review the number of sessions at any time. Each individual session is 50 minutes long.
My focus is on assisting you in finding your own path to where you want to be so if you are looking to take your first steps on that path, get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
