About me and my therapy practice
I am passionate about people's wellbeing and committed to improving their mental health. My aim is to create an open and trusting partnership, in which you feel comfortable and supported. The therapeutic process will enable you to explore your thoughts and emotions. In our work, together we can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. This in turn can lead to positive change and more fulfilment from your life. I am experienced in supporting adult clients with a range of difficulties.
My way of working is the Integrative relational approach I provide individualised, psychological care using an Integrated model of therapy drawing upon humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and developmental theories. I would normally see you for weekly 50 minute sessions, either for a fixed time (for example for six or twelve weeks) or for longer, more open-ended time if we agree that together.
I work primarily work with adults I use the relationship we create together to uncover patterns of behaviour and encourage you to explore how you experience your relationship with others and the world around you. We will arrange an initial consultation that provides the opportunity to discuss your problems and establish if counselling can help and If therapy is suitable for you.
